Jeff Warner returns!
"Family Fun in Folk Music"
Thursday, July 9th
7pm
The Gorham Public Library is pleased to announce that musician Jeff Warner will be returning to Gorham and presenting a special program entitled “Family Fun in Folk Music” on Thursday, July 9th, at 7pm.   Singing games, accessible “pocket instruments” like spoons and dancing puppets, tall tales, funny songs, old songs and songs kids teach each other on the playground are all traditional in that they have been passed down the generations by word of mouth.  This isn’t a lost art—it’ll be seen, heard, and learned as Jeff visits!  Folks will sit around the figurative hearth and participate in timeless, hearty entertainment.  Almost without the audience knowing it, Jeff teaches how America amused itself before electricity.  This is a free, intergenerational program, intended for children of all ages!
